Students planning to pursue a Master’s, PhD, or postdoctoral research in Germany can apply for a DAAD scholarship. The benefits include:

  • Monthly stipend: €992 for graduates and €1,300 for doctoral/Ph.D. students

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Strong academic performance and achievements

  • Recognized school-leaving certificate

  • Proof of language proficiency (instruction or working language)

  • Relevant internships or work experience

Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree at universities, universities of applied sciences, and universities of the arts in Germany. The scholarship amount depends on the student's nationality and level of education.

Benefits:

  • Student Scholarships: €992 per month, health insurance, and other allowances

    • Requires a first-degree certificate, academic achievements, social engagement, and motivation

  • Doctoral Scholarships: €1,400 per month, a €100 monthly mobility allowance, and other individual allowances

    • Requires proof of admission to doctoral studies, excellent academic performance, research project quality, social engagement, and motivation

Application Deadlines: March 1st and September 1st every year

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships are provided to doctoral students enrolled in a state or state-recognized German university. The benefits include:

  • Students in degree programs: €992 per month

  • Doctoral students: €1,400 per month (for up to three years)

  • Motivation to become an FES scholarship holder

Bayer Foundation Fellowships

Bayer Foundation Fellowships offer three scholarship categories for medical and scientific students, covering international research projects, internships, and academic activities for up to six months. Each selected applicant can receive up to €10,000.
